Description

Strontium Dog and I have been conferring over this addon for a while now, it basically blends some of his camo/rpg script with my zombie mod to produce Hide & Seek. On round start, one player is chosen to be the seeker and joins the axis team, the remaining players become the hiders and can choose from a wealth of frankly daft objects to disguise themselves ranging from mighty pine trees and tanks to the campers favourite - a little teapot. Here's the model choices in full:
1 - Shrub 2 - Axis Flag 3 - Big Flower Pot 4 - Pine Tree 5 - Flower Barrel 6 - Table 7 - Crate 8 - Wooden Barrel 9 - Wagon 10 - Telegraph Pole 11 - Piano 12 - Sandbag 13 - Concrete Block (Dragon's Tooth) 14 - Hedge 15 - Well 16 - Boat 17 - Group of rocks 18 - Tree 19 - Chair 20 - Patch of Grass 21 - Pot 22 - Clump of Cattails 23 - Small shrub 24 - Hedgehog 25 - Supply crate 26 - Sherman tank 27 - Kubelwagen 28 - Bench 29 - Kitchen chair 30 - Gramophone 31 - Teapot 32 - Loaf of bread 33 - Bathtub 34 - Large Bookcase 35 - Potted Plant 36 - Trestle table 37 - Toy Plane 38 - 222 Armoured Car 39 - Bramble Bush 40 - Bedside Lamp 41 - Lamp Post 42 - Bedside Table
When an axis player gets his first kill, he is not only rewarded with a new seeker (the dead allied player) but also a trusty carbine. However, he only gets one clip so he has to be sparing with his ammo and not shoot every plant pot he comes across (just in case), although he could approach the suspect object only to receive a knife in the face from a waiting hider. By default, allied players spawn in third person view but they can switch between first and third person by saying +3rd or -3rd. Admins can also set the default spawn view to first person if they wish. They can also force random models on the allied players instead of bringing up a menu for them to choose from. The addon can run either as a mod for admins to turn off and on at will - add this to your Mani rconlist.txt
"SAS Hide & Seek ON" es_xdoblock SAS_HideAndSeek/hns_init "SAS Hide & Seek OFF" es_xdoblock SAS_HideAndSeek/hns_off
or as a fully fledged dedicated Hide & Seek server. Admin config options are as follows: [syntax="es"]block config { es_xset hns_server 0 // 1 - runs addon as dedicated Hide and Seek server es_xset hns_min 3 // Minimum players before mod goes active if hns_server is 1 es_xset hns_winlimit 6 // Map changes after winlimit if hns_server is 1 es_xset random_model 0 // 0 - Models are chosen by player at spawn, 1 - Models are assigned at random es_xset start_3rd 1 // 1 - Players switch to 3rd person view on spawn }[/syntax] Needs: Mani Admin Eventscript 1.5 or newer Es_Tools The zip is structured so it can be extracted out to the root dod folder and also includes some sounds for round start and end.

Added code to enforce true colours for the models so they don't all just appear blue - thanks GODJonez
