Description

This mod I have created, Enchanting Mod, was my first whole mod, it started out at only a 10kb file, but now it is over 39kb, and it is darn fun to play! Enchanting Mod doesn't effect gameplay much other than that it adds another small level of strategy to the game. You must choose an enchantment based on what you think your lacking. There are 7 enchantments in this mod currently. 1) Ice - When you shoot someone, it slows them to 50% movement speed for 5 seconds. 2) Fire - When you shoot someone, it burns them for 2 seconds. 3) Extra Damage - When you shoot someone, it deals 5 extra damage (will not actually kill someone no matter what) 4) Poison - When you shoot someone, it deals 5% of their health back to them 5 times over 5 seconds. 5) Immunity - Makes you unable to be affected by other enchantments 6) Speed - Increases your speed by 30%, but reduces your health by 20 7) Health - Increases your health by 30 An example for what I was saying before about "what your lacking" is that maybe the opponent is strafing with speed too much. Use ice enchantment. Maybe that opponent loves to strafe and doesn't want to be affected by the ice enchantment. He then uses immunity enchantment. See where this is going? Good! Just another example that might help is that lets say that someone LOVES using the extra health. An opponent may choose poison as it deals damage based on health, thereby dealing more damage, since he has more health. Another small quirk about this mod is that when someone selects an enchantment, it will color their body based on what makes sense. Ice colors them blue. Fire colors them red. Damage colors them black. Poison colors them green. Immunity colors them purple. Speed colors them yellow Health colors them darkish orange There is 3 option modes in the block config at the top of the es_em file em_csay - 1 = csays are displayed ||| 0 = csays are not displayed [ DEFAULT = 1] em_sfx - 1 = special effects are displayed ||| 0 = special effects are not displayed [ DEFAULT = 1] em_keepenchant- 1 = You keep your enchantments between rounds ||| 0 = You do not keep your enchantments between rounds [ DEFAULT = 1] You can change these values based on how u want the mod to run... Play around with it.. =] Also, added 2 text commands... !info - Brings up a menu with information about the mod !enchant - If em_keepenchant = 1, it will let you change your enchantment if your dead

Mod SHOULD work with DoD:S, only two possible problems are A) Effects MAY not work B) If you are using spawn protection, then the health boost may not work
