File Name: botvoice2.zip File Size: 7479 bytes (View Zip Contents)
Version Notes:
2.6.0 - Changed to play nice with valve's restricting of client exec commands, specifically of bind, alias, and say_team. Thanks to Valve and their restricting of client commands, instead of just simply typing !bvon , the user will have to open the console and type "alias bvmenu menuselect 0; bind bvmenu" Also, changed the file download to a .zip so it can be installed using es_install... http://forums.mattie.info/cs/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19916 2.5.5 - Added an option (botvoice_placenames) to use custom placenames that you can create using my script at http://forums.mattie.info/cs/forums/viewtopic.php?p=87596 Definately fixed the problem of the sound not playing. 2.5.4 - Added an option (botvoice_emitradius) to emit the sound to close players rather than radioing to your team (request from Medda). 2.5.3 - Fixed problem with Mani TK menu not showing up on death. 2.5.2 - Loads corelib. 2.5.1 - Added paging to the script. Restructured the database to accomplish this. Databases are now identified by the map_and_team var, rather than 'commands' and 'sounds'. You may now add more than 9 sounds to each menu. 2.5.0 - Thanks to es_menu, the script is Mani free and can be used with just Eventscripts version 1.1. 2.4.3 - Added ability for client to pick their own menu key. Say !bvon to bind to . Say !bvon to bind to server defined key still. 2.4.2 - Added visual and audible (thanks for the sounds medda) confirmation when you turn on and off the menu. The sounds can be disabled. Lightened the beginning of the round announcement a bit and gave more information to the client when they type !bvon. 2.4.1 - Removed from Beta state. Made it so that "unknown command -showmenu" stopped showing up in console. When you die, slot10 is executed so that menu will not even stay on the screen, so there should definately be no way to radio when dead. 2.4 - Made it more effecient by setting the map type based on the round_start objective variable instead of using the map name. 2.3 - Changed the alias ! showmenu back to !+showmenu because it was causing the menu to not be displayed. Made it so that pressing 'v', then pressing another menu key, then pressing a number will not cause the radio command to be executed. Pressing 'v' key will now cause other menus to go away. 2.2 - Menu goes away if player dies and player can't radio when they're dead. Player doesn't say 0 when they die. [Thanks to Mattie for these fixes]. 2.2 - Script is shorter and more effecient. Other commands that aren't map specific may now be different for T's or CT's 2.0 - Completely reworked script to change sounds not only by what team you're on but also by what map you're connected to. Uses de_ and cs_ prefix of map to determine this. 1.1 - Modified script so that sounds change depending on what team you are on 1.0 - Original
